STORY ( VOICE OVER )
THE CHEMICAL BRAIN
Annas life
had up until this point been an emotional survival race. The man in her
life ended up on an island in Thailand. An alcoholic wreck. She was freed
from his influence, but he left her with mental marks she never really
could wash away.
The mental
tranquillity she managed to find was a work of chemical substances. A
legal drug addiction program that kept her phobias at a level she could
live with.
When Anna
found herself in a hospital bed, she thought it was all over. White light
and white heat in her mind. A daughter by her side. A daughter that seemed
to live a mirror life of her own. She couldnīt face that. She had no language,
no words to communicate.
She could
see this from another perspective. From outside of herself. She could
see her human tragedy, with no emotions attached. A chemical stare, a
forced calm.
