"Iīll never forget her eyes. The look in those eyes, a look of ultimate fear, a sense of staring into ones own death. Her black, beautiful eyes.The open blue sky and the iron fence reflecting in her irises.

We were standing on the top sight-seeing deck on the Eiffel Tower.

I was busy measuring the light, rigging my camera. She made a last second finish with the black pencil around her eyes.

She put the small mirror in her bag and froze. Just froze to an absolut still. Staring out over the Paris scenery with Seine glittering in the fond.

She was terrified. I couldnīt reach her, she didnīt respond.

I took a couple of pictures and she exploded. Grabbed the camera and crashed it on the ground.

My assistent had to cover her face with a towel and hold her arms. She had another anger fit and started to foam around the mouth, then she cried and cried.

An attack of hysteria, the doctors said. A nervous collapse. "
